Welcome back! It’s 2012 and we are ready to go with our three continuing campaigns and a new and exciting campaign this term. Take Back the Tap is working on passing a resolution that will make the University of Oregon bottle water-free, Beyond Fossil Fuels is working with the city of Eugene to reduce Oregon’s coal consumption and exportation by keeping coal trains out of Eugene, ReVamp the Climate Action Plan is creating more tangible actions and goals in the University’s Climate Action Plan to be carbon-neutral by 2050, and our newest campaign, Food and Gardens, is going to create a student-run, on-campus garden for all to enjoy!

We hope to see new and old faces at our kickoff meeting on Tuesday, January 17^th at 6 pm in Anstett 195, where we will discuss plans for the term and more ways to get involved and have fun with the Climate Justice League!
